I received a very circulated Series 1995 $5 and a slightly beat-up Series 1963A $10 from a bank today.

One young lady came through my register with an envelope of bills she just got from the bank. I counted at least five old 20s. She spent one of them, took a look and they were series 1950s. Oh how I wish she bought more than $9 worth of groceries :P

Also another find from another cashier a while back, traded for it as well.

Also, Wells Fargo tellers are really nice. Also at King Soopers, I went asking for old dollar bills so much they recognized me. I did get a 1950 $10, a 1950 $20, a 1934 $20, a 1934 $5, a 40% silver .50, a 1977 $10, (which I sold to some dealer for $11), and a $2 bill 2003 star note real crisp. I sold that for $4

I got a 1996 $20 last night, but it wasn't from a bank, it was from a vendor at the local park! I had to trade smaller bills for it, so I'm sure I looked really weird to the women running the stand, but it doesn't matter, because I still managed to get the right one!

Had 1969 and 1988 $5 bills deposited today. As much as I hate to, I put them into the mutilated pile. They were so worn Abe almost wasn't visible. :(

A friend had $50 in singles to hand out in change for a fundraiser, I went through them, oldest was a 1995 in pretty good shape. I traded for it, mainly because 1995's are few and far between!

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I been collecting old coins and paper notes for a while. I like $2 bills. I recently found this one at my grandma's house, I just want to know if it is worth more than face value. Thank you.
