I found a 1978 filled D lincoln, I searched around and cant find anything on it, is it worth more, or nothing to be happy about...

It may be worth a few bucks to someone who collects them. I know of a person on this forum that is trying to put together a set. He might be interested in a coin like that, if he doesn't have it already.

But, overall, it just has cool factor unless you find a buyer for it.

Very common, trying to find a late 1970s Lincoln with a well defined D is like going on a snipe hunt The period of 1975-79 is well known for shapeless blobs posing as D mint marks. The mint mark punch was rapidly wearing out during a period of unprecendented production and was finally replaced in 1980.
