They couldn't tell me much, and they didn't know if they were U.S. or world currency. I said I'd be glad to help. I'm expecting some interesting world coins or something like a merc or morgan. Imagine my surprise when they bring in an envelope and pull out two beautiful quarter eagles . These are the first I've had the opportunity to see up close. Beautiful coins. What a Friday! I hope these coins are now in separate holders. I cringe thinking about two gold collectible coins banging around in one envelope. I don't have the coins in hand so dates and pics are out right now, but I offered to package them for the owner (they were in separate plastic bags so that's something at least) so I'll see if I can get photos soon.
