Snooba Pillar of the Community Australia 1360 Posts	Posted 08/05/2006 12:01 pm Becky, I love your four commemorative half-dollar coins. Can you tell me what years they are? From your photo I can see that one is 1966, but I can't make out the others. I am unfamiliar with US coins, and I have never seen ones like those before. Report this Post to the Staff

Waiting for it to warm up outside (40s this morning in northern AZ) so I can get some outdoor work done, I've been cruising CCF and thinking about the direction I want to take my coin collecting activities, a goal if I might so state toward which I might strive this next year. I have pretty much settled on a 19th century type collection and up pops exactly what I have in mind, a good example of what can be done. And, it is no coincidence that the owner of this set also happens to be another ham radio operator, Barry W2UP, a noted CW (Morse Code) contester with whom I have made contact in one context or another.
