If selling on the board, you may have to take some dollars off that price to get someone to buy. The reason I say that is because you're newer here and basically an unknown seller compared to established places like those two. If you're going to sell locally like on Craigslist, you should be able to ask more than spot because you're not going to charge shipping and you're presumably not having to charge sales tax (which your local dealers may have to depending where you live). BH1964 Bedrock of the Community United States 10982 Posts	Posted 09/23/2010 09:05 am Assuming your 2001 $50 Eagle is a raw BU piece (not proof), there will be a minimal premium over melt. Figure $1350 or so. The '09 Indian Half Eagle is also a melt value coin if below Mint State condition. The numismatic premium on these pieces is roughly 15% so at $1300 gold, figure about $350 for it. Don't know about the little Panda. These have a small but fanatical following that may pay a large premium but since you're talking about $65 worth of gold, it's unlikely to bring much over $100.
