I started a second Dansco of Jefferson nickels a few months ago
That are circulated examples. I picked up a couple of incomplete
whitman push in types last year that I had forgotten about and ran across
this past weekend and went through them to find specimens that would
match the condition of the ones in the second Dansco. I came across
a 1971 D that was in very nice condition other than a couple of spots
on the obverse. On the reverse the steps look very nicely struck up
except for on hit that runs just below the inside right column.
I was wondering if this hit would stop it from being a full step
Jefferson?
There are a couple of quick shots below. Because as we all know
This type of thread is useless without Pics

Thank You for any information.

Terry
