I have an opportunity to buy the following, but want some opinions on prices and such before I pull the gun from folks who have been in the business of buying/selling and collecting coins for longer than myself.

here goes...

"100% money back guarantee if you feel the coin isn't as nice as I describe it, just send it back in the same holder. Will try to describe them the best I can and give my opinion of their grade. I have pics of most of them so if you are interested in one PM me and I can give you a link to the pics.

I am pricing all coins a grey sheet ask, no premiums! Can accept Paypal (add 2.5%), checks or USPS money orders. Shipping is a flat $6.65 (priority flat rate plus delivery confirmation), if you want insurance that can be added.

1878-S MS60 SPL - Nice looking coin with wonderful mirrored fields. Cheek is a little rough but still a nice coin and a tough date. $55

1879 MS62 - Lots of luster, a nice looking coin. $40

1882-S MS64+ Awesome looking coin with a clean cheek. Coin has a few dark spots on it but they don't take away from it's beauty. $50

1882 O/S MS60 VAM-3 Nice looking coin with lots of luster. To be honest it would probably grade a 62 but it's a tough call on these normally soft struk coins. Tough date to find. $190

1883-CC MS-65PL Superb luster, nice cameo over semi-proof like fields. $430

1883-O MS-63. Nice looking coin with a normal soft strike and a really clean cheek. Reverse has some toning on it. $40

1883-O MS-64 Very clean coin with a nice half moon of rainbow toning on the obverse and a touch of toning on the reverse. $50

1884 MS-64 Wondeful looking coin with just a hint of purplish toning on the obverse, nice clean cheek and a prefect reverse. $62

1884-O MS-60 Astounding luster to this coin, I'm only saying a 60 because of the amount of bagmarks on the cheek. $29

1885 MS-60 Same as the 84-O above, the luster just screams and this one has just a hint of gold toning around the rim. Bagmarks on cheek aren't horrible but I have to call it a 60. $31

1885-O MS-63 Really nice looking white coin, tons of luster. $40

1886 MS-63 Nice looking coin with light shades of purple toning $40

1886 MS-63+ Firey luster on both obverse and reverse, this coin is one bagmark away from a 64 (might actually get a 64 on a 'good day') - $40

1887 MS-65 Awesome looking coin with a super clean cheek and and nice cartwheel luster. Has a hint of gold toning around the rim. $135

1888 MS-65 Super clean coin, has a line or two of dark toning on the reverse. $155

1889 MS-64 Nice looking coin with a clean cheek, only reason I'm saying a 64 is the luster isn't perfect. $53

1896 MS-65 Beautiful white coin with a nice clean cheek and a nice strike, wonderful cartwheel luster. $165

1898 MS-63 Nice looking coin, no major problems, luster could be a touch flashier. $40

1902-O MS-64 Flashy looking coin with a muted purplish toning on the reverse (partial) $60"

My first question would be, who assigned the grades? You've got a long list here. Some could be a good deal but if they're all raw coins, I wouldn't pay full MS money based on the opinion of the seller.

That's what I was afraid of:

Not that I wouldn't trust a good friend but, I'd have to see coins in hand and even then I'd probably knock the grades down 1 or 2 points because I don't trust myself!

If you are looking to buy them all I would be looking for a good discount off the asking $, if your looking at just a few then your going to have to pay the price and hope you don't have to return them.IMO
