CONECA shows five listings for 1936-D/D. Maybe your coin is one of them.
I am too new on this site to give you a link, but if you do a search for CONECAONLINE on the left side of their page you will find listing for "Variety Mater Listings." Scroll down to Mercury dimes click on " Mercury dime RPMs" and you will find all the RPM listings. Click on 1936 to see the five listings for 1936-D.

My best guess is you will find it is a D over D. There is also the slight possibility of it being a unknown variety. I discovered a 1939 DDO-003 3-O-VI Mercury dime in 2009 (you can find that on their site, too). I think it would be pretty cool if you have a new variety. Stranger thing could happen.
