Well, in my last post I complained about the lack of silver lately. Today I searched $100 MWR and found a nice 1964D and a 2020 Weir Farm W!

So I've been looking closely at these 2022 quarters since these "drooling" die chips have been spotted. I found one yesterday. I think someone on here said they appear to be common, but I'll keep one for the novelty.

Had another awesome week CRH Quarters for W's, 5 of 6 boxes yielded me 8 W's . 2-2019 W's, 1-Lowell, 1-Missions, and 6-2020W's. 1-Weir Farm, 3-National Parks, 1-Tall Grass and 1-Salt River Bay. This is the second week finding 8 W's. Also pulled a 1950 P Silver. Check out these GEMS 1965 P, 1980 D RPM?, 1983 D, and 1985 D RPM? These are in excellent condition for being in Circulation. There are a lot of photos. Enjoy!!!

In my searching this week ($400 MWR) I found 2019 Lowell W, 2019 River of No Return W and a Homestead with many die chips on the reverse. I'll have to post an enhanced image of it to show what I found and see if anyone else sees one I missed.

So, here's the image of the Homestead quarter with the die chips. I found six areas on the reverse with die chips.

Hi everyone. I started hunting quarters in January and would like to share my finds to date. The information on this forum has been very helpful to me and I'd like to contribute. My current spreadsheet is below. I plan on updating every now and then.

I have been pleasantly surprised by quarters. I hunt mainly for silver and low mintage dates, and I always thought quarters circulated too much to contain anything interesting. I was happily mistaken!

In one of my first boxes I found a 1935-S, which was a big surprise. A few W enders have come my way also, which is always fun, and a 1964 Canadian.

Like others on this thread, my W finds have been substantial but lopsided. I've found 61 total, but only a single Tallgrass Prairie. Perhaps geography is influencing these results, and my region (Cincinnati, OH) may have received uneven amounts of each quarter in 2019/2020.

If it wasn't for the Ws, I'd probably have overlooked quarters. But I have thoroughly enjoyed hunting them and I encourage others to give it a try if they are curious (assuming you can find a bank with them). In a few years it might be too late to find W quarters in gem AU/MS with such frequency.

About your spreadsheet, no quarters were issued in 1933, so you can remove that date.

Very nice. I probably need to get into quarters, if only for W hunting.
