I think I'm going to try and search quarters a little more often, I think it'd be a great challenge to put together a BU clad set from roll searching and maybe find a bit of silver along the way too.

I searched $120 a couple days ago and pulled out a BU 1976, and a nice AU 1965.

I picked up my very first box of quarters today, and not a single silver. Luckily for me, it was a Brinks box, so no need to open them =]

You know...I once picked up a box from a a bank down the street..all the rolls looked like brand new machine wrapped rolls showing coins from 2010-2012 on the ends...found 7 silvers in that box because my boredom superceeded my want to actually search the rolls...so search I did!

mind you this is in Canada..

I've resumed coin roll hunting on a smaller scale since the car break-in some time back. Much safer. I'm also banking with a small credit union and no longer hit the side of town where I got jacked.

Any way, it's fun to be back in the game. This weekend I had a first for me. I went to the bank and got a roll of quarters and a roll of dimes. The quarter roll showed silver on the rim. Woohoo!

Then I pulled it out, and it was one of those lame silver-plated QVC quarters. I'll still keep it, though, because it's still neat to find oddities like that.

Earlier in the week I picked up a nice wheatie from the leave-a-penny tray at a local shop, so I guess I can't complain :)

Searched through $50 tonight (I get to spend 4th of July this year doing laundry). Found a few BU parks and states for my box of tubes, but that is about it.
