I've done 3 boxes of quarters so far and have not found anything.
Can some one tell me what their average number of boxes is per silver quarter?

Mine is so low that if I go through three boxes and find one sliver I'm doing well. Its really hard to do quarters, the rewards are few and far between.

Edited because of my inability to type on my phone.

Hello Quarter Roll Searchers!

Been a while since I did a box o' quarters; I am a half dollar man.

But since my half dollar boxes yielded no silver this week, I had the itch to do some more hunting, and picked up a box of quarters and a box of nickels.

Here's my results:

El Yunque P x2
N. Mariana Islands P
American Somoa P
Yellowstone P
Glacier P,D
US Virgin Islands P x3
Yosemite P x4
Olympic P x2
Mt. Hood P x2, D
Vicksburg P x6

Also, a few nice other non-ATBs I kept.

A question: Does anyone know anything about The US Virgin Islands quarter having a variety? It looks to me like the land on the reverse bottom center of one of mine is smaller than the other two I found. My phone is on zero battery, so I can't take a picture at the moment.

Thanks!

I think I remember reading about three types, something about the placement of the islands positioning. I agree with the above, maybe ask the experts on that.

Just checked a case of quarters a few days ago. Pretty much got nothing. Their Canadian quarters so I got a bunch of the 73's, 99's etc...a few American State Quarters which I enjoy. No silver. :( Two cases to date and zip in the silver column.
