very nice canadapenny now youre the 3rd person to find a SLQ this yr I believe (i did it and so did bish) unless I'm missing someone? my box today no silver - but found 22 more ATB's |

I usually don't search quarters, but something interesting happened today. I was walking by a Coinstar, and I heard silver falling out. Sure enough, the guy had found 4 silver quarters! I offered him melt for them. As soon as he sold them to me, another one fell out. He was so happy, he gave it to me for free.

1967 Canadian - great score on the SLQ! There can't be many of those floating around. Looks like you found a real gold mine there in OH!

in the past 5 months I have searched about 70-80 rolls and have come up with 74 ATBS, no silvers but that dosent bother me, I am ATB HUNTING!  |

Thanks, jbuck. I check the reject slot every day hoping for silver. I hadn't found any in months, and only dimes, never quarters. I just happened to walk up at the right time! I thought for a second the guy thought I was crazy, but then he saw I had cash...

chuck nice to see you out searching for dimes and quarters as well and crazy I agree with you I collected 100s of ATB's from box searching including another 27 from todays quarter box |

Thanks MOnks! As you know from my half dollar posts, it's been pretty low on counts except for the past 2 weeks ( broke double digit). I'm doing Quarters and Dimes, any Silver is a plus, but I'm really looking for the more valuable DDO / DDR's on these as listed in the 2012 CherryPickers Guide - 5th Edition, Vol #2.
