Today I searched 8 rolls and found a 2004 east Caribbean States quarter. PIRATE COIN!

finally scored my first proof!! and it was a 2004 silver proof quarter!! post a pic as soon as I get my new phone coming in a few days and the rim was to thick to fall for the (its probably a canadian quarter) haha side note I'm glad this forum is alot more active heres to the next 50 pages! gooo quartersssss!

I'm waiting for this saturday when I can get some more quarters
But I agree, this thread has been more active lately, there seems to be lots of silver out there.

agreed jbuck silver proofs are the best to find! and I'm just getting a newer older phone so to speak ( new flip phone very old school haha) me and modern technology just dont mix

Oh unhappy day! At one of my banks buying dimes...my favorite teller whispers to me, "I had 3 rolls of solid silver quarters, sold them to a lady 'collector'".
I remained calm but blew a head gasket inside.
"You should have called me", I said.
"Well, I thought you only liked dimes and halves, or I would have."
Wait for it.......

fist, I feel your pain happened to me as well a few yrs back lady brought in 2 rolls of silver quarters and one of the tellers kept it (im sorry but someone else already purchased them) those words hurt too much

I usually don't search quarters but we got a box in for a business and it was in clear plastic wraps so I took a peek...

Yielded a fairly beat up 1945
