Found it today in a roll , 2003S clad proof 3.7 million minted ! For the people who said auarter is not worth to search I only can say that I tough many times in buy a folder for my silverquarters from roll searching . I found about 50 silver , 1x1999S silver proof new jersey State Quarter with mintage of 800.000 plus couple silver and gold plated novelts . Butb I admit quarter is very tough to search if you have not a monk patience . Btw the oldest I found is a 1936 and if I knew of this tread before I would have posted my finds asi found !good luck!

My concern with Quarter searching is coming across Canadians. I Live in Michigan hours away from Canada and get Canadian stuff often. Had almost enough Canadian cents from searching a box to comprise an entire roll. Of course Canadian quarters aren't as prevalent, but I sure would love to find that Illinois Proof!

Ten bucks if it's clad and not just a metal slug.

Quote: My concern with Quarter searching is coming across Canadians. I don't mind, if they're silver. I found some 90% Washingtons on ebay for just above spot, and it turned out some 80% Canadians were in the lot, too. I couldn't pass that up!

Went through $500 today and found: *A whopping nine Canadians *Three pretty nice original Washingtons (1983-P, 1986-P, and 1998-D) *A 1 Deutschmark from 1983. *The interesting thing about this hunt though was I found what appeared to be part of someone's State Quarter collection; I found rolls full of shiny Michigan, Texas, and Washington State Quarters. I'll probably dump those because they weren't solid, fed-wrapped bank rolls of quarters.

I was roll searching a few weeks ago for ATB Quarters and came across a Chickasaw D. Pretty cool, considering that it hasnt been released yet.

Maybe someone broke up a mint set and placed the coin(s) from it into circulation.

yep, most likely. I hope they keep it up! Denver mint coins take FOREVER to gt to VA. I just finally found my Alaska D earlier this year. I have 3 more Denver mint territories to go as well.

I searched through $300 in customer and bank-wrapped rolls to find just one Canadian. What's even more interesting is that I managed to find 20 rolls of Grand Canyon quarters. I obviously don't want to open them up, so would it be worthwhile to try and sell them on ebay or some other venue or should I cash most of them in and keep maybe one for myself?

Here is a find of mine. I searched a box to finish some sets and hope for silver. No silver, but I believe this is a Cud. It looks nice and I was wondering what the value would be.
