Funny you should mention that. Mine went out last night(For about the 4th time). It is a simple screw in base spot bulb, you get to it by squeezing the sides of the clear hood and it will come off. (Yes, you got to sqeeze kinda hard). Then screw out the bulb with some needlenose pliers and go find a replacement at the hardware store.

Only problem with these is they START at 60x. Much too powerful for what I want.. I love the 30x one, but cannot find them anymore.

I have a wierd magnifying glass it's the kind really really really ancient people use for reading it's shaped like a dome
