If I were you, I would look at the US CoinFacts on this website for the Seated Liberty half dollars. Look at the numbers minted, find one year/mint that had plenty of coins minted that year, and search for that coin (Heritage, ebay, Harlan J Berk, etc, any number of online coin sites) and find the coin you can afford in as good of condition as you can afford. Note the dirt still encrusted on the reverse. IMO, the dent would not stop a grade. I do, however, see some "cleaning lines" on the obverse and a fingerprint on the reverse. The "cleaning" may prevent a grade...
