I'm occasionally hanging there, rather than being forwarded back to the forum. No real pattern, irregular and not forum-specific. Using Chrome. The post always appears whether I hang or not.

Do you get a success message?

Rui, I have experienced the same thing, but it doesn't happen very often. Firefox for me. In fact its been almost a week since I've seen it. Honestly, I just chalked it up to the fact that I open so many CC tabs at once that it confuses the redirects sometimes. Since I've gotten no other reports of it, maybe its something admin specific?

So you get the success message and it freezes? If that is so, I think it's a browser's issue, as the redirect that follows the success message is done through an HTML statement, so the page doesn't even resubmit to the server for the redirect.
Dave, if it happens again, can any of you capture the HTML code of the page with the success message and maybe email it to me or post it here, just to be sure that everything is indeed well from the server side?

Quote: So you get the success message and it freezes? Yep. Everything works perfect except the final redirect doesn't happen. If it happens again I'll snag the source code.

In all honesty, it could be a delay rather than a freeze, because I only wait a few seconds before leaving manually. I sometimes go days without seeing it; some days it happens every two or three posts. I agree, it's certainly my browser - Chrome does some odd things on my computer sometimes. If/when it happens again, I'll capture the page source and email it to you. Good Golly. 849 lines of code on the page as it appears right now.

I'm doing everything on Chrome now (and loving it!). Never had a problem [knocking on my scull].

As I said, I would put my money on something on the browser side. Initially I thought it could be subscriptions causing it, but that would cause delays before the success message, not after the message.

I just had another freeze. Left it alone long enough to determine it was a freeze and not temporary. I captured the resulting page code; if you want to shoot me an email, Rui, I'll Attach it (.htm) in a reply. Be mindful of my recent malware experience - although I'm sure I eradicated it (no more search redirects on 4 different computers) - open it in an HTML Editor rather than with a browser. I'm paranoid that way. It's been a long time since one got me this good.

I see this occasionally as well. I use Firefox but don't remember if it happens with only one CCF tab open or 20... will pay more attention next time.
