monkeyman67 Valued Member United States 439 Posts	Posted 12/03/2010 2:10 pm I spend alot of time getting hold of Ike dollars and half dollars. I have yet to find a proof. But today my luck chnged, I thought. I bought about 15 IKEs from a bank and the last one I checked was shiny and had an "S" mintmark. I was really happy. Unfortunaltely when I went over the coin I saw that the top had a hole drilled into it. Maybe next time. Report this Post to the Staff

Meaning : Just keep at it and you WILL be rewarded with some good finds eventually..... I've looked through $3,500.00 worth of Halves before, and not found one single silver.....one sinle Proof.....NOTHING !! So, I took a long break for a few months......the very next box... I come across silver, buffalos and stuff too. The Ikes though. I never get anything good with the IKEs. I will keep trying. I don't mind I enjoy the hunt. Report this Post to the Staff
