I specialize specifically in nickel dollars, and have some spectacular errors. On the bottom edge I can see where it was struck an extra time... I dont collect them guys..any idea of value before ebay or someone gets it Report this Post to the Staff

Zonad Pillar of the Community Canada 1472 Posts	Posted 07/29/2013 8:20 pm One thing I learned at the mint was that the plating on coins will need to be annealed before striking. I suspect the zinc seen on this coin would not show as much if the coin had been annealed between strikes. Report this Post to the Staff
