Could-This-Hole-In-The-Coin-Have-Been-Struck-At-The-Mint?

do you think this hole was created at the mint or some one managed to do this on their own, I'm just curious to know the origin of this hole.

I wouldn't have thought it was damaged at the mint. Looks like someone tried a puch on it rather than a drill.

If it were done at the mint during the minting process.the colour would be the same. On the reverse, you can see the fresh copper colour of the punch- therefore post-minting damage.

even if the colour were the same, it still would have been post mint damage
