The flood of auctions has receded as fast as it came. The prices shook the tree, but overall not many changed hands. And those that did are now in stronger hands.
And, where are the high grade examples?

Following last data that I have obtained :
- 0 Far 2
- 42 Near 2,
the trend is now :
32/3851 = 0.83 % for the variety Far 2.
And, following the study of some coins ( all origin ) of 5 cent 1932 Far 2, with the caracteristics of Far 2 included in my post of 10/01/2013 : - 2 near 3 - 2 near rim - S of CENTS regular to rim,
i beleive that this variety was striked by only one die.

For a better trend, I need more data of Near 2 and Far 2 ( 5 cents 1932 ).
Please, check your 5 cents 1932
Maybe you will be lucky

@ dialog_gvf,
You say : " And, where are the high grade examples ? "
I see only one certified VF ( not my coin ), and a member of this site have said that he have one 5 cents 1932 Far 2 UNC : that is few !
Meanwhile, I beleive that the Far 2 exist in grades VF, EF and UNC, but it seem that some sellers wait, at once, to see this variety listed, in the catalogues.

I know of at least two in mint state, one of them being a MS-63 or better... they are in the hands of 5-cent collectors, and will not likely see the marketplace for a very long time.

By chance, or were they available?

The variety was unknown until a few years ago, so absolutely every one was originally in someone's hand by chance. They were lucky enough to have one.
So, of the high grade examples, were these specifically acquired, or already sitting in the current holder's collection?

I have 18 1932's that I was going to put in a collection I am selling, which has 5 of them already in it..Problem is I cant tell the difference between them ..I know just measure straight like across, but you can make a regular 32 look like a far just by shifting the line a bit ..

Connect the left and right leaf tips. The gap between the top of the 2 and the line is obvious with the far 2.

We can see now, on ebay : - 39 coins of the variety " 5 cents 1926 Far 6 " - 0 coin of the variety " 5 cents 1932 Far 2 ". How did you explain this ?

The 1926 is a recognized variety. The 1932 is not. The market will decide if it is accepted. Get it listed in Trends. No more, no less is required for you to succeed. Generally coin collectors only accept what is in books or (shaking head) what dealers tell them.
