This coin is a 1912 Eagle ($10 gold piece) not a Half Eagle ($5 gold piece). It appears to be lightly circulated (AU condition) and is a common date.
Gold Eagles contain almost a half-ounce of pure gold with 0.43875 troy ounces being their standard weight in gold. At the current spot price of gold you have $668 in gold there. With it being a circulated, common-date piece there is not a large numismatic premium adding to the gold value; I'd add 15% to the gold value bringing it to about $768 in realistic market value.
If the coin was a lower end Mint State piece such as MS61, the value would be about $100 more or roughly $860.
