I'm trying to get a feel for what a full set of JFK's (1964 - 2010 w/proofs) would go for. All coins MS60+ & PF63+.

If you want the Proofs as well, youre going to be looking at about 400-700 I believe. The none proofs are relatively cheap and you can get 1964-2010 in MS60 for about 80-100$ but If I am not mistaken, most of the proofs are relatively expensive.

That depends on how you want to get the set. Buy it all done or work on it your self. Also depends if your going to do just the clad proof or clad proof and silver proofs. The clad proofs are not to bad if you buy the sets and get them that way or even look on ebay you can find them relatively for a good price some of the time. The silver proofs are a different story all together. On each one of them probably at least 15 dollars for the more common to 60 to 80 for the Keys in the silver proof. A complete set of PDSS can get up there also if you include the 1998 Matte proof, even more. I finished my circ set not to long ago. Total I think I spent close to 70 to 85 for all the coins. Most of that was 25 dollars for the last 10 years of P and D mint coins from ebay. My coins are at least AU most are BU, its just how you want to work on set.

I was reading the mintage on the 1976 Kennedy Halfs and next to it it said clad. What does that mean?

Between $650 and $750.00 for all mint states, proofs and silver proofs. Retail, the mint states range between $1.95 up to $17.00 each. Proofs are from $2.95 up to $24.00. Silver Proofs range anywhere from $9.00 to $70.00. It is really a FUN set to put together. Hope this helps.

Clad is a term used for certain dollars. Also dimes, quarters and 50 cent pieces that were made after 1964. The center part of the coin is made of copper and the outside of the coin is a layer of either silver or a combination of nickel and copper.

The 1998-S Silver Matte Proof can be pricey. Numismedia lists them at $150 for SMS60, but it would probably be hard to find one in a lesser grade than SMS68. By the way, I am selling one here in a set with the RFK Commemorative Dollar: https://goccf.com/t/77614

COINage magazine lists the value at $625. I doubt that includes the 1998 Silver Matte Proof or the 1979 and 1981 Type 2 Proofs. If you're buying the coins individually it would be hard to do for that price.
The Dansco Album including proofs through 2010 has 154 coins.

The 40% silver halves did not have a pure copper center layer. Both the center and outer layers contain silver with the outer layers being 80% silver and the core layer being 20.9% silver, which is enough to turn the color white. They have a total of 4.6g of silver, compared to the 11.25g in a 90% coin.

I have 4 more coins to go to finish my Dansco PDSSi Album. its been a blast and I'm so excited to finish it up. I can;t wait to post the pics when I'm done - this will be my first complete set. I don't have the 1998 Silver Matte Proof - But the best part about it is there is no hole for it in the Dansco :).
Great Set.

I just purchased my 8166 Dansco and about 20 mint sets of JFK. I have all my 1960s uncirc and 1970D. Just ready to finish up the min uncircs and work on proofs and silver proofs.
