I cant understand why people seem to shun 90% modern silver proof coins. You can pick up silver proof sets from say 2005 with 1.85 FV silver at below spot price. Extra coins, proof 90% silver so no wear issues. Yet people seem to prefer paying as high as 10-15% over spot for 1964 kennedy rolls... I just dont get it... Is there something I dont know here?

I'm into ancients,but I would buy the minty neww coins over the 30 or 40 year old ones...
