Snooba Pillar of the Community Australia 1360 Posts	Posted 09/11/2006 06:11 am Okay, I will start off with my three favourite Australian coins: 1) 1877M & 1878M Sovereign - Queen Victoria with St. George Reverse 2) 2000 $1 1oz Pure Silver Kangaroo - Proof 3) 1999-2001 $10 Millennium Series (Past, Present, & Future) And before you ask, no, I don't own any of them, but I'm going to one day. I like any of the old coins with King George v on the obverse like the old pennys I have and my 1927 florin but my wife (the non coin collector) likes the new one dollar design with the dolphins on it so much I am going to get one for her!!
