I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this or even the right website. I found some antique pins and wanted to know more about them (value and rarity)mainly. If it is the right place or site to post this subject, I can get pics. If not disregard this thread haha.

If they are Roman, I think they are known as 'fibulae' (plural).

If that is the case, get onto an antiquities website.

Post the pics. I'll look at them. They may fall into the numismatic realm. Even if not, we might be able to give you some direction. It can't hurt.

The second one looks like something Coro would have made. It would be marked on the back. The donkey is likely Sterling, but not sure. The wagon is nice, but I have no clue on that one. The first has me clueless. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Maybe another member will recognize one of them.

the wagon says sterling on the back, and the donkey says "Silver Mexico." the buggies don't say anything and I wished they would. the first one is a brooch that's made of gold I was told. thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

after some digging around I found out what the oxen driven wagon one was all about, and the medical looking one. I wouldn't know what to call the ones in the second pic to search them. I tried " Coro buggy pin" but that's all I could think of. The antique forum I found turned out to just be full of spam so I need to find another one and see if I have any luck there.

They are beautiful regardless of where they come from. Good luck if you decide to sell them!

the medical I found could be anywhere from 80 to 250 dollars. I love the carts I am currently trying to figure out what they are all about. haha.

Try "costume buggy pin" or "costume buggy broach". Also, what did you find out about the wagon pin. It appears to be really well made.

the medical one apparently is gold plated silver, here is the link I found on this one too. I really liked that one as well, I saw it an my heart dropped.
