Is 35.00 a fair price? It's in an ANACS holder.

I don't have my greysheet in front of me but if it is a problem free true VF30, that price seems fair.

Looks like a good deal. Many large cents have some degree of impairment which will not necessarily be easily visible. It's reassuring to get one that is certified as problem-free. This one looks attractive and solid for the assigned grade.

Yes the price is very fair for the grade and the appearance is easy on the eye! I'd buy it if I were you.

Thanks, everyone! I thought it was a good deal. It's on its way to my collection.
I also bought an 1852 large cent ANACS VF-35 for $29.77

The VF-35 is an ebay coin. I have bid on several and almost always lose. The pictures were not very good so I suppose there is a little risk involved.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...RK:MEWNX:IT. The seller accepts returns so I figure worst case scenario I'm out the shipping cost.

It being graded means you know an expert has looked at it and agree that its that specific grade and problem free so I think you will be fine. if it was raw now I would say you may have to worry about condition but I don't think you will have a problem
