Hard to tell if the spots are on the fields, or on the case. I'll guess PR65.

Looks like an NGC slab. They aren't as stingy as PCGS but they don't just give away top grades for Franklin proofs. This one seems to have some scattered very tiny marks and specks. Cameo contrast looks pretty light. I'd say the grade might be as low at PR-64 (no cameo) but should at least make PR-65. At the upper end it might make PR-67 Cameo.

I recently picked up three Franklin proofs (uncertified) on ebay for under $11 each. These are large, impressive silver coins that are still available at low cost.

Little too late to move it, Adam, but please put the next one of these in the Modern Coins forum. This forum is for discussions of the TPG's themselves, rather than the coins they grade.

Unless you don't like the grade, of course. Bash them in here.

What did you have to give for it ... I had a guy offering PF Franklin halves for $40 each uncertified ... I thought it was high
