Seated Liberty Half Dollar - 2 Obverse - Is This A Joke?

This is among them - 2 obverse, 1877 on one side and 1875 on the other. Is there any way this might be 'real'? Report this Post to the Staff

I know where the coin has been for 40 years or so and from the quality of the join, I KNOW my dad didn't do it. Someone was serious when they did this one. The seam is almost invisible in a couple of places, the milling lines up and there is wear and some nicks that go across the seam line. Looks like someone had a serious agenda when they did this.
