Hi,

Here's a 1599 Brabant Florin for your consideration. It appears to have been struck on a undersized planchet. Could have been "clipped" but I have rarely seen altered coins that are as symmetrically round.

How do the edges look? Could it be more modern grinding? Maybe someone wanted to make it fit his/her locket?

Rounded and smooth. Not flat as one would expect from grinding.
