There is way to much going on in the open fields to get an MS grade.

I agree with ayejay, along with the amount of facial marks, there is also a mark on the rim at 9:00 on the obverse, still a nice coin to keep. VF, sorry, just my opinion, hope someone may correct me.

Sorry about the pic guys I took this coin to the vancouver coin show Which sucks BTW.And a couple dealers/sellers gave it a 63. the coin looks better in the hand as always. I just wanted to see what other people thought. there is no mark on the rim Not what I had hoped ..lol

Looks 62/63. The satin white luster can make the marks look much worse in a revealing scan. Also keep in mind these are big, heavy coins, and will be allowed more marks at a given grade than smaller silver coins.

Sorry for the heart attack. I usually don't like giving out estimates because of things that can be misleading, glad I was wrong in this instance. Like I said, nice coin to keep. take care

Even at MS-63 the grading cost may out weight any profit. My guess is MS-60 as there are some serious nicks and scratches. There are plenty of MS-64 and MS-65 examples.

Definitely MS, but way too cluttered for 63. Maybe 61, including the tarnish or dip out to a 62.

gord... you are smart...that is whay you should sell it to me for BV and cash....right? IF the coin is graded then you know what to do. IF not, unless you are sure it will be at least a 64, grading is noth worth it. IF it is a 66 graded, I am a buyer, or sell it for big mulah....... I have its smaller cousin the wolfie as a 67... unfortunately graded as a SP... seriously, I had an absolutely stunning 1967 together with the whole set. beautifully toned. sold it through my special place (not ebay). a Collector from Hong Kong bought it.Got Euro 250 for it. he bought it ONLY for the nickel which was absolutely super.... This is what the year of the Rabbit does. Gord, are you going to the show in Vancouver?
