Hopefully you all aren't getting too bored with my Standing quarters yet. Here is another NEWP to grade.

I need one of those Icon with the shades. LOL!
AU 50-53.
Just because I had a similar one.
I located the shades.

Looks AU-50, with light wear over Liberty's right leg and breast and on the eagle's breast. Luster looks strong. The head is flat (as struck) and the date is relatively strong. Nice, but it seems a little high-end for your circulated set Johnny! Does this mean it's time to upgrade all the rest?

Thanks for the opinions all! I agree AU-50 sounds about right.

Jaobler: I've been on an SLQ frenzy lately, and I have decided that it is by far my favorite US silver coin series. If I find one at the right price that I like, I go for it. It will be hard to be too consistent though, as my highest grade 1916 is only about G-6 at best; and that one is kind of the hallmark coin that others will be based on. I'm trying to go for 4 digit dates on all the rest of the pre-25, which basically requires F-12 and up.

So there will be some inconsistency, and I am not sure I will keep this 1920 for my set. My other 1920, while lower grade, has some awesome toning going on.....so bringing to my next question. If you had a choice, which of these 2 examples would you choose. 1920 SLQ #2

I will probably keep one and resell the other.

Plan B: Keep them both!
If I had to choose, the AU is really nice and the one I would keep, but since the Fine is not worth a whole lot of $$, I would just keep it as an extra rather than sell it.

AU-50 for the first coin. My opinion would be to sell the AU and keep the toned one for your set. Flip the AU for some more nice F-VFs for the set.
