I tend to agree on the f-15 grade, for two reasons-one,the obverse is in my opinion, slightly lower in grade than the reverse, and I'm not crazy about the coloring either. I tend to grade the 1925-1930 SLQ's tougher becuse the date area held up so much better. Also, for me, not enough detail in the chain mail to go VF.

Thank you for your input CA! I also find your opinion very interesting. I hear you on the toning. The coloring imho occured as a result of retoning over an old cleaning in my opinion. I don't believe this to be a problem free coin, but I do kind of like the look of it(but I'm kind of weird like that).

That is unusual that you grade 1925-1930 tougher than pre-25. Almost always it's the other way around, and folks will grade pre-25 tougher because given equal detail levels, the date on the pre-25 is often weaker in grades of VF and below. The TPGs are often harder on pre-25s with weak dates too. In my opinion, they should be graded equally according to the detail instead of according to the date.

Personally I think this has more than enough obverse and reverse detail to make VF20-25. I don't have much to compare it with, but it does have the same amount of detail as my NGC VF-20 1923-s.

I disagree with the others on this one. This is an easy VF20 maybe even a 25 in my opinion.

I always try to form my own opinion before looking at (or being swayed by ) other responses and I was in the VF camp.

I initially thought VF-20 and others' opinions confirmed it.
