Today I went to the bank and dumped a box of halves. On there table with products from the mint were some 2010 ASE and the price was 33.84 so I bought all 12 they had. Did I make a good buy or am I gonna loose some money? I am interested in your opinions.

Seems fair, just a little above spot is normal. Remember, they really are just bullion.

Definitely beats the price of buying them online and a few dealears around my area were offering them for 33-35. Silver is at 31.6+ today so not a bad buy I think. I would have bought them if you didnt =D

You paid what an AP would pay the mint today so you did great. The current mint price to APs is right around $2 above spot.

Wow that's a sweet bank! None of the banks I go to sell ASE's. In the short term I believe silver might dip a little but in the long term any silver acquired is a good investment!

Other than the one in my 7070, I have not had much interest in the ASE. If I were interested in them, I would have probably bought them at that price.

Same here, I have a few but only as a physical bullion investment. Personally, I barely consider them as coins. With the run silver has had, they have been a great investment tool as I can now sell them for more than double what I paid. At the recent crap interest rates banks have been paying, my silver has been a great place to keep extra money!
