Are they doing a silver $50 coin this year?
Silver ram's head with an "M" mint mark, would be very cool

Hmm...
What other product are there at the ANDA show that I can buy as a souvenir,
Do they still do the mint year sets with ANDA? I might get one of those :)

I seen on the ebay they had
2011 Year of Rabbit Coloured 2oz Silver Coin ANDA
2011 CAPITAL BRIDGES ANDA SHOW COIN

So are theses products specially made for each city event, and is it just the packaging that has ANDA on it that makes it unique or is there something special with the coin itself, like a mint mark.

I went to the coin show yesterday and it was a great experience, but it was a really long day for me as I spent 5hrs+ in a car travelling.

So I left early and set of to Melbourne to get there at the opening time, there was a line to get in the door, and chatted to a few people as we went in. got a ticket to say I was 750 entry for the day.
FIRST stop had to be the RAM stamp your own coin and of corse a line, about 50 people around at that time and was only in the line for a few minutes, there was a limit 5 per person @10ea. But I saw a few people go to the back of the line and start again. There was a constant line around the stand all day. tonyozcan on ebay believes they were a sweep sell-out on the first day.

I have one spare if anyone wants to make an offer.

I meat some great dealers and some of them I would be quite happy to buy from in the future. I was able to get 2 dealers to work a deal, and another ones prices were very good that I was happy to fork out. But wow you really have to get in there and sort through the stuff to get a bargain.

I also got to hold a 1kg silver coin, WOW!
And spoke to the lovely lady, who designed the bush baby series, Elise Martinson and got her autograph. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Bargains to be had were 1966 rounds for $10ea -- didn't bother as I didn't need them, only dealers went in and brought them all to resell.
Bargains I picked up were a 2011 5c and 50c coin, and 1910 threepence.

The only product for sale with ANDA packaging was the celebrate Australia coin.,

Straight Swap Available -- I don't have the P or B Counterstamp coins in card.
I can trade my coin M Counterstamp in perfect condition. For your Counterstamp coin that I don't have -- must be in card and perfect condition. That way we only pay our own postage price, coin card will have to be sent protected.

P.S got all my coins stamped with the portable press; you got to have fun pushing the button!

The counterstamp dollars could be purchased either pre-minted (made in Canberra according to the staff at the stand) or you could press the button on the portable press and 'mint' your own dollar if you chose.

http://www.australian-threepence.com/blog/ went to the ANDA show too and have great info and pics.

Hi,
Is anyone going to the Sydney ANDA show?
I would like to collect the S Counterstamp coin too.
Can someone stamp me one -- will cover cost for the coin and postage.

I would too be keen on getting a S stamp one if some one was willing and able too.
I would cover cost for stampage and postage.

Also if anyone has a B stamped coin from the bris show they wouldnt mind parting with I would be interested in that as well.

At the Melb show I got the census and fred hollows $1 coins, apparently they sold out after me so I figure there was good numbers at the Melb show.

I have a few spares of the 'B' Counterstamp coins that I would do a straight swap of for other Marks. I probably have enough 'M', but I will be after some 'S' when they become available.
