Not sure if this will work out or not, but here goes anyway. I know the owner of http://www.australiancoachtours.com.auI asked if he would be interested in doing any tours from Sydney that would stop off at any coin shows within a day trip sort of distance from Sydney and he said he would. If there are any shows that fit the bill, we can make a coin community trip!

Details are now up on the ANDA website for the 2013 Melbourne ANDA Coin, Banknote and Stamp Show, including a list of dealers attending. http://anda.com.au/news.asp?contentID=79 Doors will be manned as usual by volunteers from Victorian coin clubs including the Numismatic Association of Victoria and the Melbourne Numismatic society. Please be nice to them, they're working for nothing on their weekend just for the love of the hobby, and besides I'm one of them! Members also put on displays that are well worth a look. There's also a discount voucher that if your present on the door you get a whole $2 off! http://www.anda.com.au/discountvoucherM0713.pdf(Yes I've noticed the error at the bottom of the voucher. If I print it out before it's corrected will it be worth more in the future?) See you there!

I went to the coin show today and it seems to have half he sands than last year.
The mint wasn't there either, so does that mean there will not be any mint marked dollar coins?

Don't quote me on this, but I think the RAM might be going back to taking the Portable Press to the 'Shows', eg The Sydney Royal Easter Show, (They were there this year), the Ekka (They might be there this year), and possibly The Melb Royal Show. As far as I am aware, The RAM has not attended any of the ANDA shows so far this year.
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

The RAM will be at the Etihad stadium international coin show in October.
Meanwhile the Melbourne ANDA show was a shadow of its former self. There was barely anyone there, no talks, only one minor display and as a result the $10 entrance fee seemed pretty excessive.
In future if the RAM arn't going to attend I won't bother going.
