2000 S Lincoln Proof Error? - Coin Community Forum

lelliott608 New Member United States 18 Posts	Posted 04/06/2011 8:53 pm I was looking through some Lincolns that I purchased a while back and came across this 2000 S cent. If it hadn't been paying attention, I might have missed this. As it is, I'm not sure how this happened or even what it is. There appears to be an indentation (in the shape of a 'C' or semi-circle) right above the 1st 0 in the date. Any ideas about what this may be? I'll put it in a binder sleeve to keep company with the clipped planchet, off-center, and other miscellaneous error cents in my collection. It'll definitely get a good home.
