This piece has been knocking around forever. Nickel, uniface 20mm.

Possibly-Jewish-Medallion?

The hole looks to have been drilled post manufacture, which would make it a medallion originally, right? The lettering seems Hebraic, but I'm none too sure. On the back a registration: Rd 484194, which I believe makes it British.
Any clues?
Thanks,
Bob

Hello

Te medal is a Jewish Star of David with the word Maxal in hebrew.

Mazal is the Hebrew word for luck

I know nothing else about it.
