Hello; Y cant speak English very good; y am from Paraguay; y have a coin: 1825 960 Reis (Brazil)overstriked to a 8R coin. With the inscriptions: PETRUS T.D. (?) 8R . P . I . PERP.BRAS.DEF. +1825.B (R?)+ And, on the obverse: IN HOO (?) DEI CHENGES (not really visible). Why can y upload photo from the coin. What is his worth?

Hello Hokroeger, welcome to the forum. Please try and post your photo so we can see the coin. 960 Reis are a fun series to collect because so many were struck over 8 reales and other crown size coins. As for value, a lot depends on how much of the host coin can be identified.

Hokroeger, if you have problem with uploading pictures it is probably because they are too big. 100k is maximum. You can cut the size in any image editor, like "Paint".

It is difficult to estimate worth without pictures because the degree of conservation is very, very important.

You can also upload it to an image hosting service, like http://photobucket.com/ for example - and paste the generated address here :) (or better, put the URL between [#105;#109;#103;][/#105;#109;#103;] )
