What's it looks like it's made of? Is it the size of a quarter, or a half?
Rest in Peace

I have one of these, but still in the sealed package. It's about the size of a quarter. Some kind of a promo token for the Franklin Mint (not "Ben" Franklin).

I doubt this item will be in any catalogs. It's quite recent.

To the original question, "... what's it worth?" This longtime exonumist estimates $1 or so, retail, in this condition. A nicer specimen, say one in original wrapping, might command twice that price. A "Franklin-o-phile" might pay more, but I've yet to meet one of them in my fifty years of collecting. Coin dealers will typically shun these modern issues which are frequently found resting in antique shops, year-after-year.

A silver (?) token (26mm) incorporated in the Franklin Mint membership card in the 70's.

I haven't met one either.........but I'm pretty sure they are out there. I've had a few of the Franklin Mint sterling medals/ingots/art bar sets pass through my hands over the last few years. While doing a web search for info on the first one I came across a site run by a guy that buys the sets to resell to collectors. He's got them rated by rarity & is willing to pay more than melt value for the rarest ones. All of the sets I've had were common ones, so I can't say for sure if he would actually pay what he claims.
