I'm trying to restrain myself, but the person who did this to 50,000 beautiful silver eagles should have to eat them all...just my humble agitated opinion.

I read something about acetone somewhere. I'd be glad to fix em.

Wow- is there a special circle of Hell for whoever did that? Now, don't tar and feather me for this, but I have seen some colorized coins that aren't awful, but this isn't it...

That has got to be one of the most disturbing things I have seen on a coin lately. Who thinks of this stuff?

Yes there is. It's the area of hell where you have to polish your favourite coins with silvo and brasso, where you have to handle your proof coins with dirty fingers, and where you watch as someone colours all of your silver and gold coins with texta and paint! And then you get to show your coins to all the other damned souls so that they can sneeze on them before they are slabbed by SGS (Satan's grading service).

Pretty much makes me want to cry and I don't mean that lightly. Who could take such a work of art and destroy it like that. That is just absolutely unthinkable and a horrendous shame. This is akin to walking into an art gallery with a bottle of ketchup and a bottle of mustard and throwing it all over a masterpiece. Sometimes I just don't get the human race.

Bobby

If these belong to a client - - -

Are you selling them?

or are you offering a reward if we add them to our collection.

Thank you for exposing the WASHINGTON MINT

I feel the same about most items from the Franklin and Morgan Mints.
