If we're waiting for that guy with the 1804 dollar to show up,
I'll be over here in the den, catching up on the last quarter century of movies I missed.

Oh, wait... did you mean a U.S. dollar?

Sorry. This is the English one.

Nice piece, Sap. Great details. Looks like an overstruck coin.

I'll post my favorite U.S. coin as soon as we exit the Nineteenth Century.

1803 The "Conder" token era was petering out by 1803, but that didn't dissuade dandy Robert Orchard
from having a penny token produced with his own image.

You'll have to trust me on this one. It is an 1802 large cent, S231 stemless.

Yes, it is. There's a Spanish Carolus IIII 8 reales underneath that design. Anything that looks like a flaw or die crack (such as through the date) is actually a relic of the coin's previous life. Unfortunately, the undertype date isn't quite readable.

Nice quick fingerwork, Ngdawa.

I'm going to presume you do not have an 1800?

C'mon, someone kick this tired century into the bin so we can get to the tough stuff.

Haha! Actually I've put the next coins in line on my e-mail so I can post them even when I'm at work (like now).

LOL, that's correct - I don't have an 1800
