I have two coins of this date, neither of which are particularly pretty. This one is the better of the two, I think. It's been cleaned and is slightly bent - so it was probably a ground find.

Archbishopric of Salzburg (Austrian States), 2 kreuzer.

Those are some really nice coins. I take it this thread is about old coins from Europe that have a date on them and not the older ancient coins from Rome, for example.

That's good to know. I just received a ancient Roman coin that is by far my oldest coin. Other than that, my oldest is a 1907 US Indian Head penny. Haha
