Hey folks,

I was fooling around with my camera and noticed what might be doubling or might be die wear. I really don't know. I'm sure someone here can help me. Thanks for your help.

Looks good but I'm no pro.

I'm hanging around to hear what others have to say.

If you are using a single light source for your pictures, this has to be a doubled die and a very nice one at that!

Sometimes, taking pictures using two light sources (or one light and background natural lighting) can give the illusion of doubling, but I don't think this is the case with your coin! The split serf's just look too good.

I sure hope I'm right as this would be a great discovery for a 2010 cent! Good work and thanks for posting.

Thanks for all the replies. I am using two lights sources. One at 12 oclock and one at 10 oclock. I can see if it turns up with one light source. I was not aware that 2 lights sources can have that effect. Thanks for that info.

Can you see it with a loupe or does it show up only when you use a camera?
