At first I was going to say its the "lighting" but I noticed the "I" and also on the "F"....very interesting...
I am the worst person to be answering this so I won't....lol...cool find what ever it turns out to be!

If you are using a single light source for your pictures, this has to be a doubled die and a very nice one at that!
Sometimes, taking pictures using two light sources (or one light and background natural lighting) can give the illusion of doubling, but I don't think this is the case with your coin! The split serf's just look too good.
I sure hope I'm right as this would be a great discovery for a 2010 cent! Good work and thanks for posting.

Thanks for all the replies. I am using two lights sources. One at 12 oclock and one at 10 oclock. I can see if it turns up with one light source. I was not aware that 2 lights sources can have that effect. Thanks for that info.
