1895 Indian Head Cent / IHC From A Roll ... With A Fun PMD

nickelsearcher Moderator United States 15789 Posts	Posted 04/30/2011 5:34 pm I truly beat the find-rate odds by pulling this 1895 Indian Head cent from a roll this morning ... I'm a part time cent roll searcher and to date have completed only 3 boxes! Anyways ... I grade at G4 and note with interest the PMD ... someone a long time ago started to turn this cent into an octagon! The ground/filed rims have naturally toned over the years to the exact same chocolate brown of the coin ... so I am assuming this PMD was done a long time ago .... Photo: Great fun for me ... I'll add this lovely to my eccentric collection of PMD coins.
