The bank should have video of the transaction. Ask to see it. Maybe the next person in line took your money. They may be able to identify them by the video.

Ask the bank to look at the video. Tell them you think you dropped it in the bank. They will be able to see the time in the video and the people that were in the bank and made transactions. Also...double check your pockets..seriously. Plenty of times I thought I had dropped money and checked my pockets 5 times....only to get home and reach in my pocket and it was hugging the edge of the pocket. I hope you find it!

Eric: I am sorry you lost your money, it sucks big time. When I was 13, I wasn't even allowed near a $20 bill, much less lose it, and I lost a ton of money in my day. But you know what, if it's any consolation, things have a way of evening out, particularly when you least expect it. Expect to lose a lot more than just $100 in a single day in your lifetime. There are lesser and greater tragedies (& the occasional joy) that still yet have to find you. My good sir, it all comes with living a free life.
Good luck to you. Life can be hard, but you have the power to make it not so.

Don't sweat $100 I lost about $125k in the 2000-2002 "tech wreck" which was, at the time, approximately my entire net worth.
Saved like a mad man, invested, and got it all back plus some. The lessons learned saved me a fortune when history repeated itself in 2008.

About finding lost cash in pockets, reminds me of the numerous times where I've put a bill or 2 (usually ones or a $5) in my pocket and forgot about them, only to find them weeks or even months later in the same pair of pants. Found a $20 bill once like that.

Call the bank again tomorrow. If you did leave it there, their cash will be out of balance by that same amount. If you get the feeling the person you are talking to is blowing you off, politely ask to speak with the bank manager and explain what you think happened. I hope your money finds its way back to you.
Honestly, after silver price action this week, I expected to see many more posts with titles similar to this one!

Good life lesson -- learn to hang onto your money. Or better yet, be able to do that AND find money other people lose. I have found numerous $20 bills in the craziest places -- bottom of the ocean stuck to a sea urchin while scuba diving, bottom of a swimming pool stuck on the drain, and blowing by on the sidewalk when going to a garage sale. And I agree with the others -- get a wallet. I keep it in my front/side pockets as it is easier for me to keep an eye on it and prevent pick pockets (which someone tried to do to me once in Greece!).

Quote: wait till your girlfriend breaks up with you! The reason I wouldn't be able to be upset about that is because... I think. Why have a girlfriend, its near impossible at 13 your going to have a girlfriend and keep the same one forever, why risk the disapointment... Maybe when I am around 15 or 16. I'm the kind of guy no one would want to be with because everyone thinks I am "Weird". I like being what the other immature kids think is weird (Being interested in more mature things EG coin collecting and computers

No, front pocket only! If you have ever been the victim of a pick pocket you will understand. last year I went to a convention and I wasn't sure how crowded it would be, so I bought a wallet designed for the front packet, and carried an empty wallet in my rear pocket just give any thief a surprise

Quote: I am 13 OK, lecture time. Eric, there are only two ways you can go, when you fall off the horse. One, you can sit there and sulk, complain, and make everybody around you as miserable as you are. Two, you can learn from the experience, pick yourself up, and get back on the horse.
