have a couple unopened rolls silver eagles.06 and 07.should I try to sell by the roll or individually?where do you think I would get my highest return?

This isn't a trying to be rude statement, just a way it is statement: If you have ever collected anything then you know that if you can sell it individually then you always get more than if you sell as a set. Lucky you, silver is selling like crazy.

He'll have to wait a while! Rules is rules. I doubt special dispensation would be given regardless of how high silver gets. Hurry to 250 posts, only takes a few more quality posts, the water's fine.

herman - I believe you're right with coins of numismatic value, but not necessarily ASE's, which go for a pretty set premium.

I do wish ebay would recognize certain items which should trade with lower fees, such as bullion. On tougher to sell items, a 9% fee makes sense. But on bullion people are working with much smaller margins.

I should also add - the advantage to selling individually instead of as rolls in this case is if the OP wants to dollar-cost average with the sale.

With ccf out, at least for the moment, send them to APMEX if they're still paying spot +$3. One nice neat transaction, no commission charge.
