Isn't that a bit pricey for a copper coin? I not that knowledgeable in foreign coins, so I guess my opinion wouldn't count. But I do like error coins.

It might be worth about 1/10th of the asking price, so I doubt there will be any takers. Don't know where the seller would have sourced the claimed $800 CV. Obviously a catalogue I don't subscribe to.

2005 Mob of Roos (MoR) did have the lowest mintage of them at around 5.8 million.

Oh, by the way, it's an aluminium/bronze coin.

These have been (are being?) sold by Max Stern, a dealer in Melbourne. I can tell this by the strange staples and writing on the 2x2. Where that $800 cv comes from I don't know, there is no catalogue. Myself being a dollar and error collector I would estimate this worth about $300-400. Maybe at public auction you'd get more, certainly not on ebay.

yes, that's a nice error, and a low mintage variety, but AU $599.95 "Buy it Now" seems a lot - as Nancy says.

and a quote from the seller:
" I sell Australian modern coins and PNCs that give you returns between 50 & 100% per annum.
These are a better and safer investments than Shares and Properties."

- I suppose you could say that that becomes a term of the contract ?

The coin error is genuine, the selling tactics by using 4 images are made to confuse the people who don't read the description stating 1 coin for sale, the pics suggest 2 coins
These are not the type of coin to be listed on ebay with high price,a real auction better suited
