I believe anything 1964 or earlier would be 90% silver, 1965-1970's are 40% silver. If you find Walkers, the 1921 and 1921-D are rare.

2002 - the present date are are considered NIFC (not intended for circulation). They mint only like 2 - 2.5 million of these per year, so they are rarer. Also the 1987 P&D were not released into circulation.

Good luck with the box! Any BU examples added to the list above, especially if you want to start a set. I still need to get my first box, maybe after Vegas hehe.

1965-1970 .14 oz silver
1987p,d NIFC
2002+ NIFC
Watch out for S mints/Proofs too.

Good luck. Dont feel bad if you dont get anything from your first box.

There is a pick list and a checklists available for download on my webpage.http://home.wavecable.com/~kenringold/
Good luck. I hadn't started collecting Kennedys yet, so I figured I better get started with all the miners going through them. I finished my first box yesterday. Wasn't even able to put a set of the common ones together. I'm still missing '84-'86 Ps. No NIFCs, or anything earlier than 1971. The miners have done a good job. I saw more than one persons markings on the coins. I picked up my second box yesterday. I hope I have better luck, or I my have second thoughts about starting this set.

After about 2000 or so coins I still haven't run across one or two of the 90s , a few NIFCs, and one 1987 mintmark. Also good luck finding the 1970. Meanwhile you will find enough 1971s and bicentennials to drown in.
