1872 25c A/V in VG for $20 :). Approximately $3980 off the listed price on ebay Kinda makes me mad about the G6 I got for $50 last week http://www.ebay.com/itm/1872-H-Cana...em518c974437Got pics or links for yours? Good job getting them. Nobody looking. The most I ever got was $500 for a VG8 certified by ICCS as a A/V. 25 cent piece.

Danlos, The Coin Cabinet is run by my Best friend Mike Wilson. There is no way in heck he would let that coin go for under $3,500.00. It would be impossible for you to buy it at $20.00. Even if he made a listing error he would not send it to you at that price. Are you lying again? Glenn

If I'm correct, I've found 3 in the last 4 months. I cant seem to find any in high grade though. I found the pre A/V die break 1872 25c with blundered N in CANADA in AU55. Its a stunner :).
I figure if I'm around long enough...I may rescue thousands of neglected Canadian varieties...:)...for future generations...

Good for you. I want to discover many more varieties. Did I tell you I co-discovered the A/V quarter?

Quote: The Coin Cabinet is run by my Best friend Mike Wilson You must be referring to the Moncton store manager. The Bells (Geoff and Brian) own both stores.

Is it that dash in the V in Victoria that is considered the "Inverted A" variety?
And is this variety only on the 1882-H Quarter and 50 Cent coin?

Very nice discovery, Zonad...on the 1872 25c A/V...
The more varieties you discover...the more I can go hunting for! :)...
I'm hoping I've found a Hub doubled 1882 both obverse and reverse...pics coming soon :)

Yes Zonad. No trip through Edmonton this time, so Ray's stock of rolls is safe. He said he was closing shop by the end of this year.

I bought this jubilee medal on ebay - 200634775501 thought it is a good deal for the price that I got it for. Haven't gotten it yet but am looking forward to it.
